Summer Haul!

Hello blog readers, yesterday I went into town with two friends to buy some clothes for my holiday in July. I spent more or less the whole day there, from 1:00 to 5:00, so it wasn't really the whole day but it was long enough. I went in most shops and there was only two I didn't buy from, out of the ones I went to. I knew what I was going for so it was easy to look for the outfits. I needed 3 outfits that I could wear in the evenings, some sunglasses, because I stood on my others last week, and some sandals.

I saw some shorts in topshop on the internet last week and I knew that I wanted to buy them and they would look nice to wear in the evenings so I went in topshop and I got them, they were the last peair so it was lucky they were my size, I also bought my sandals from primark in the sale, they were £6 but was reduced to £3, I didn't know the specific ones I wanted but I know what style so I found some and I love them. I also bought my sunglasses from there and again I knew the style I wanted so I found some of those and then I bought a white strapless top that I could wear in the day and not get strap marks. I also bought a blue dress from primark, I got that last minute because I needed one more outfit and I didn't have much money left so I bought that because it looked good. I also got a white vest top that is quite dressy depending on what you wear it with, that was from river island that I will wear with the orange shorts, but when I got home and I was on the topshop website I found a nicer dressy vest that will look better with the shorts so I ordered that. I also a midi dress from republic, I like the style of midi dresses so when I saw it I decided I wanted to buy it more or less straight away. I also bought a real techniques brush from super drug, I saw that last week when I went into town with my mum but we did have enough money left so I bought it this weekend, it is the expert face brush, I used it this morning and it was good so I am glad I bought it.

My half term holiday

Well over this last half term holidays, that was last week, I did absolutely nothing with me friends, I never saw them and hardly ever spoke to them, I need a better social life. for the first 4 or 5 days I was away in wales with my family staying in my caravan and whilst I was there I revised and did homework and then when I got back I did exactly the same.
Whilst I was in Wales the weather was gorgeous, we spent most of our time on the beach, one of the days I was there I went on the kayak. and when I got home I stayed in for a couple of the days and the days I went out I either went into town with my mum or dropping my sister off at places, like her friends houses.

I had planned to do so much that week but none of it happened, it was the only holidays I've had something planned for nearly every day and nothing happened. oh well.

Music Favourites

  • Jake Bugg: I like most of Jake Bugg's songs but my favourites are 'Two Fingers' and 'Lightning bolt' I think his songs are really catchy, I first started listening to his music late 2012 when my dad started listening to his music, at first I didn't particularly like his music but then it kind of grew on me and I downloaded it onto my phone and started to listen it almost every day.
  • Nina Nesbitt: I enjoy nearly all of Nina Nesbitt's songs and I don't think I could pick a favourite, my sister started to listen to her music and then I began to like it a lot so I downloaded nearly all of her songs onto my phone and now I listen to them every morning on the bus going to school.
  • Olly Murs: I have been a fan of Olly Murs since he was on the X factor in 2009, I like all of his songs but my favourite is probably 'please don't let me go' and I recently went watching him in concert on the 27th March 2013, it was an amazing night and he is such a good act to watch in concert.
  • Jessie J: I have been a fan on Jessie J since 2010 when she first became famous from bringing our her first song 'Do it like a Dude' I would say my favourite song of hers is 'My shadow' and when I found out the meaning behind the song it described exactly how I was feeling at the time. I have never actually been to one of her tours but I do have her album and autobiography.
  • JLS: I have been a big fan of JLS since they were on X factor in 2008, when I was 10, I have all there albums, books and annuals and I have been the 2 of their tours and I'm going to their last one in December, I have also seen them once at one of the Girl guiding concerts, Big Gig, I like all of their songs and I don't think I could chose a favourite, I am gutted that they are splitting up at the end of this year.
  •  The Kaiserchiefs: I haven't always liked the Kaiserchiefs and I wouldn't call myself their biggest fan but I used to like them when I was younger because my Dad liked them and had the album on in car a lot and when I was 8/9 I went to see them in concert, it was my first concert, when I was getting older I stopped listening to them and started to listening to songs that were in the charts but I have recently started listening to them again and starting to enjoy their music.
Thank you for reading and please comment any ideas for another blog.

My school make-up

The make-up I wear for school is different to the make-up I wear on weekends I wear more at weekends because at my school make-up isn't allowed.
For school the first thing I do is apply the prima, which is Mac prep+prime skin base visage, I apply that with a foundation brush I bought for about £2 in primark,
the next thing I do is apply the concealer under my eyes and around my nose, the concealer is collection 2000 and I use the 3 medium shade,
then I apply the foundation, which is Mac studio sculpt foundation, the shade of nw20 I apply this with the foundation brush from primark,
next I do my eyes, the first thing I do is use and eyelash curler, I then apply the mascara, I first use the Maybelline  the rocket volum' express mascara, I then use the Maybelline the falsies volum' express flared mascara, then I use the first one again,
then I use a tiny bit of eyeliner to the lower waterline, I use the laval kohl eyeliner pencil in black,
I then fill in my eyebrows with a brown pencil, which is in fact an eyeliner, which is just an eyeliner duo pencil I got a few years ago,
the next thing I do is add a tiny bit of blusher (the lighter pink one in the picture) to the top of the cheek bone near the hairline, I use the colour institute pallet,
The final thing I do is add colour the just under the cheekbone , for this I use the Mac mineralize skin finish natural in the colour medium deep.
Hope you enjoyed reading about how I do my make-up, and maybe (but probably won't) help you in any way, please comment any ideas on what to do next.

My recent purchases

I went into town on Saturday with some friends and for once I actually went with a list of things that  I wanted to buy, I wanted to buy a purse, some false nails and a back combing brush and I wanted some rings as well but wasn't actually planning on buying any, I cam home with:
  • a purse (River Island £17)
  • Rings (Primark £1.50) they were a pack of four but I am wearing two so on the picture there is only two on the packet
  • Fake nails (one box is £1 primark)
  • Ear cuffs (99p internacionale)
  • backcombing brush (primark £1)
  • Colour pout lasting lip paint (super drug £4)
I did go to buy a stripy purse but I decided I didn't like it very much and preferred this one instead.
I hope you enjoyed this blog and please comment with ideas of what I can blog about next!
